This is my poster presentation guidelines that sent by the committee for me.. if you follow this conference (Asia Pacific Conference on Reproductive and Sexual Health and Rights/APCRSHR) with the same lines as me, you got that guidelines too, right??
General instructions
- Posters should be displayed according to the scheduled and assigned floor/area as specified in the conference program.
- Posters should be displayed on a free standing vertical board. Poster presenters will be provided with half a panel for their display.
- The poster dimensions should be 850mm wide x 1100mm high.
- Use paper type posters (not tarpaulin type posters). The boards are made of a material to which Velcro tape or pin scan adhere. Limited tape will be provided.
- Plastic sleeves on all poster boards are available. Hence we encourage you to print A4 handouts of your poster and place them in the sleeve for the delegates to take.
- Presenters should be in attendance at their poster during the poster viewing time and schedule to answer questions and discuss aspects of their research/interventions. Determine any additional points about your work that you would like to convey if questions are asked.
- Determine when the recommended time to stand by the poster, noting particularly any dedicated poster sessions. Presenters are encouraged to inform the conference participants about their poster presentation. Contact details during and after the conference should also be included.
- In preparing the poster, presentersshould not attempt to provide the entire research history. Present only enough data to support the conclusions or to explain the point(s) you would like to make. Data should be kept to a minimum in favor of diagrams and photographs. Aim to put across a simple message in an eye-catching manner.
